What your account stores

We store the profile, portfolios, practice responses, optional reflections, recordings, and application conversations that you create. Your account is hosted on the separately managed First Shift Supabase project in the Seoul region. We use account and security logs to operate the service. The optional sandbox keeps fictional examples in your browser tab; do not enter confidential information there.

Who can see your information

Your profile, reflections, unpublished work, and recordings are private. Publishing a portfolio or company page makes the selected snapshot public. Publishing a role makes its job description public. Applying shares a fixed copy of the information and evidence shown on the application form with that employer and its authorized reviewers. Private assessment results are never automatically shared or used to rank you. Messages and shared recruiting records are visible to the relevant application participants; internal reviewer notes remain private to their author.

Recordings and consent

Camera and microphone access is optional and starts only when you choose to record. Uploads are stored privately. Selected application videos use links that expire after five minutes. Withdrawing an application stops new employer video access; previously issued links can work until they expire. Written transcripts and captions are editable by you. Automatic transcription is not active until an external provider is configured and you consent.

AI assistance

If AI is available, only text you expressly submit is sent to the configured external provider. Review every suggestion before saving it. AI must not invent professional facts or infer protected traits, emotions, health, or suitability from appearance or voice. Hiring decisions remain with people. The service does not promise a job or a validated psychological diagnosis.

Retention and control

Your content remains until you remove it or delete your account. Use Settings to export your records and permanently delete your account. Account deletion removes your private media and database records, including dependent application and recruiting records. Employer account deletion also removes that employer’s roles and dependent applications. Other people may already have downloaded information you shared; First Shift cannot recall those copies. Supabase backup and infrastructure log retention follows the project’s provider settings and may delay final expiry of residual copies.

Unpublish a portfolio to remove its public page. Withdraw an application to stop future selected-media access. Contact us to correct an immutable application snapshot; you can also explain a correction in its conversation. We do not sell candidate data or use personality results for automated employment decisions.

Email and billing

Account verification and recovery emails occur only when requested through the account flow and when email delivery is configured. Recruiting conversations are in-app. No payment details are collected while billing is disabled.
